We have a very adorable “groundskeeping crew” at Terra Romance Farm. These Nigerian Dwarf goats (sisters) have been helping us clear our trails and marginal areas around the farm this past year. Goats are a great way to control invasive plants and other hard-to-manage vines and thorny shrubs. Our goats ride around in our goat transporter to “work” (enjoy a buffet of plants) on different parts of the farm. They’ve been recently working around our new pavilion site (more details on that soon!). They also provide plenty of comic relief with their playful and sweet nature.
